Church Reopens

Salem, Selinsgrove (Pastor Stina Schaeffer) celebrated the reopening of their church building after a devastating fire during Holy Week 2023. In July, they had a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house at Salem Lutheran Church in Selinsgrove. The event featured speeches from Pastor Stina Schaeffer, State Representative David H. Rowe, Snyder County Commissioner Joe Kantz, Wendy Dombroskie from Senator Culver’s office, and T-Ross Brother’s Tommy Michaels. Guests enjoyed a tour of the beautifully restored church along with some delicious snacks and refreshments. Salem and Zion, Kratzerville, have worshipped together for much of the time since fire nearly destroyed the building during Holy Week 2023 and Zion’s pastor announced his retirement. Together they blessed this restored spaced and dedicated it once again to God’s service.
